For the past few years the pilgrims that go to Sabari Malai for darshan of Iyappa is increasing. This Iyappan Koil is a sequel of that bhakti. Though small it has space for many images. With Vinayaga on the left and Balamuruga on the right, Iyappa is in the center and the Kumbabhisekam was performed in 1981.
When we go round the shrine, we can see a Linga of white marble and Vishnu. There is a Vinayaga under a papal tree with Naga stones. There is a Navagraha dais. A compound wall encircles that shrine. The road that passes abutting this temple goes to Kodaikanal which is 63 kms a way.
